You know how google on their search engine has art or such representative of the current day?
Well were he still alive, it's the 61st birthday of Douglas Adams (of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series fame).
So today's doodle (http://www.google.com) is an interactive view of the Heart of Gold's bridge.
Click around on it, cycle through the HGttG's variation animations etc.
It's rather worth a few giggles if you liked the books (and can catch all the references).
