General Discussion / B company roster Cleanup
« on: February 18, 2011, 09:33:47 pm »
B Company, LotRO has completed a roster cleanup that removed most characters that were over 180 day inactive from the Kinship roster (60 if they were listed as a recruit) and cleaned up the Forum side as well, moving people to the IRR or releasing them. A email was sent, but if you used a fictional account to register or didn't included an email address when registered you of course wouldn't have received it. If you were removed and wish reinstatement let me know and I'll forward the request to Deathwind for review.

Tinuwen, Capt., B Company Force Commander.

General Discussion / Passing of Dave Arneson
« on: April 14, 2009, 02:01:58 am »
The last of the two founders of D&D passed away a few days ago. One way or another both he and Gary Gygax are responsible for many of the games we play, be it just the imagination required to create a game such as Neverwinter Nights or LotRO.
Hail and farewell Mr. Arneson.

So, how many here besides me had, at one time or another, the full set, in their original condition?

Flotsam and Jetsam / Re: Hellgate London Server Closure
« on: November 09, 2008, 06:36:14 pm »
Nope, once they close the servers it's single player (from you disc) only. It should have been designed like D2, and allowed LAN and only go on line if you wanted but they got greedy and wanted it to be a MMO. All the multi-player stuff was kluged in, which shows, and why the game failed. I cold play single player on-line with no problems, but once you grouped up you started getting graphic and game play problems. This game is a good example on how not to design an MMO.

Sounds like fun.... I can wait in Buckland and drink till I fall over hand out an Item (best would be a easily crafted item that retains the creators name).

Oh Erethalion, are you having trouble logging in as Aareth? If so, let me or CJ know and we can help you :)

General Discussion / Re: Guild Wars anyone?
« on: May 28, 2008, 12:30:28 am »
I have Guild Wars but don't play much at all. FYI if you ever did play, and didn't delete your account it will still be there (they don't delete inactive accounts) :)
