Title: Hellgate London Server Closure

Santa Clara, Calif., (October 24, 2008) - NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that they will continue to support customers of PC game Hellgate™: London with online server support and play through January 31, 2009 despite the closure of Flagship Studios. In a further gesture of support, Namco Bandai Games will provide this server support free of charge to all fans and players of the game up until the shut down date.

NAMCO BANDAI Games appreciate the enthusiasm of all the Hellgate: London players and looks forward to providing them with future entertainment products.

Ah tis like throwing money down a hole... a fiery hole leading to hell!

Yea I had a lifetime membership for Hellgate: London... ah well live and learn :D

Nope, once they close the servers it's single player (from you disc) only. It should have been designed like D2, and allowed LAN and only go on line if you wanted but they got greedy and wanted it to be a MMO. All the multi-player stuff was kluged in, which shows, and why the game failed. I cold play single player on-line with no problems, but once you grouped up you started getting graphic and game play problems. This game is a good example on how not to design an MMO.
