I do this on every message board I've ever been on. I don't get the chance much these days as I'm mostly on FB, and have been pretty anti social the last few years, but I digress...
So what are you listening to now or, if you prefer, what do you like to listen to while you're gaming?
At the moment I'm listening to Skeleton Witch, and while I game I usually go with either Motorhead or Combichrist. Motorhead is great for WoT, and Combichrist is fun in PoE or Minecraft.

Generally: Tutti Sound, Ryuuha Mikakute, Soundholic or Magnum Opus while gaming. Love dodging to the music or arranging the killing blow to the climax of the music.
Though, we did create a one hour loop of 'Kill me baby' for really repetitive things - your brain seriously goes blank until the song is over by around the 5th reiteration.

Unless it's Kyuusaku's WTF? show on Japanaradio, I don't listen to much of anything at the computer these days. When I'm out and about, it ranges from Rat Pack to Portland Taiko to 80's Hair Bands to Jazz to...well, I think you get the point that I've got rather eclectic tastes. :)

I'm always fascinated by what people listen to. My tastes range from the blackest of black metal to Lady Gaga and all stops in between; about the only stuff I can't get into is new country and most rap and hip hop. Unless it has a point, if it has something to say I'm all over it.

Depending on the mood, just about any music from Gregorian chants to (very select) "pirate metal" although extremely little rap, not much "country", almost no "gospel". Generally, though, I'm listening to 'classic rock' from the 70s and 80s or one of my favorites such as Wendy Rule, the Doors, or somesuch.
Musically, I'm as varied as the games I play ;).

In my case, Tyr and Alestorm. They're the only two metal-anything I can tolerate - and even then, it's only if I'm in a certain mood. Septfox has determined it must be some sort of weird mid-age crisis or something since it's totally different from anything I listen to normally. 8)

It was actually Sarah Brightman's breakout hit. She then went on to have an incredible career singing in musicals. She has an incredible voice. She did a version of Phantom Of The Opera with Antonio Banderas for some Andrew Lloyd Webber honor ceremony that was absolutely incredible.

At the end of reairing Frontier they flashed "マクロス新作TVシリ一ズ始動!" (New macross tv series, starting!) and had the silhouette of the old ship. Like the blogs are saying, going to be hard to beat F. (now beating 7 isn't hard..Macross suffers from StarTrek syndrome..ever y other series sucked.. II and 7 were horrid, Plus and Frontier were good...Zero... was well...neat effects but... )

Sadly, I couldn't place any of them...though it's late tonight. I did look her up though and saw that she did the theme Yamato 2199 and Yamato 2199 #4, as well as Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino and Phantom: Requiem. I can't recall ever watching any of the other anime that she lent her music to.

..turns out a group I liked split, one half going for more 'epic', the other half wanting vocals. This is from the former.
EDIT: for giggles, since was explaining the pic to Jaise..it's based on an old (Muromachi period, so, 1300s) story about a tiny (and i mean a single inch) boy who wants to be a samurai. So he sets out, wielding a sewing needle in a sheathe of straw, for adventure. In a rice bowl paddled by a chopstick he sets down the river.
Eventually he joins up with a daiymo to serve him, but because of his tiny stature, they humour him: he's to be the playmateprotector of the daimyo's daughter.
One day though, a hammer-wielding oni attacks them, grabbing up little Issun-boushi and swallowing him. Not surrendering, Issun-boushi stabs the oni with his needle repeatedly until he is spat out. Dropping his hammer, the oni flees.
Now this hammer wasn't just any hammer, but a magical mallet that allowed wishes to come true. In some versions Issun-boushi shakes the mallet, causing riches to come forth, going on to enjoy life in the court. In others though, the princess recognises the mallet and tells him 'whatever your wish, this can make it so, be it fortune or glory'. He simply replies with 'I have no interest in either, I merely wish I would grow'. Waving the mallet, the princess commands him to grow, and so the tiny samurai was tiny no more. Now full sized, he returns with her to the city, and eventually they are wed.
.... and this is why in final fantasy when you are hit with the Shrink spell, the item to grow back to full size is a mallet :P

We just don't have the population base to support an NHL team, we sometimes fill our 6600 seat ECHL arena, but $70 a piece for cheap NHL tix (several hundred for glass seats) is probably above what most Alaskans are willing or able to pay for a night of the Hockey. I cold maybe see the Aces stepping up to an AHL level...
