I own both of these for my 360, very good games. Lots of fun in their own right, but even better to have a friend or 2 join in.

I myself will be joining SWTOR as soon as possible, whether it be in a beta or just at launch. You can be sure that Ill be ingame and helping the Watch in any way I can, though I dont know if I will be taking officer duties. My own playtime hasnt been what I would call steady over the last few months, so I cant commit to anything other than being in game as much as I can, and recruiting as much as I can.

I will dabble in both, though will mostly play light/good side. Going evil is fun once and a while- but I much prefer to thwart the forces of evil than join them.

In my opinion its around 2:1 for Space/ground or even 3:1. Predominantly you are in space.

Even though I am firmly rooted in my side of the Starwars Vs Star Trek war...I may have to give this a try just to see how it is.

I am very psyched for this game to come out!!! I liked how they seemed to integrate at least a few different class choices into the combat vid- for both sides even.

If i remember correctly- and I may not be seeing as though it was now almost a year ago- I beleive i saw a group of Watchers running by up in the Misty Mountains in LOTR. The Kinship I was in at that time had just disolved because the Kin leader decided to kick all players that hadnt been on in the last 3 days...which was a bonehead move i think but hey that was his problem, and I was looking to get into another Kinship. I thought the named sounded really cool, in a sort of dignified "we take things seriously" kinda way, and started sending out Tells to Ajakstu,(where are  you at now AJ?), and Misti if im not mistaken. Eventually they pointed me in your direction- I had a helluva time catching you when you were online- and eventually got myself recruited. I do beleive you were the person to actually send the invite to me though esteemed leader so you would be right on that account.

I firmly beleive that- to be considered a Man and able to call yourself one- a guy MUST have something to live by. Whether it be a code of conduct, code of honor, chivallry itself (my personal choice), or even a holy book. A man also must be of the "good" persuasion. Now i know the term "good" is subjective to different peoples interpretation s. They also must know how to treat a women with the respect she deserves- this does not mean to do EVERYTHING for them or to be all mushy about it- but treating a women with kindness and compassion is not weakness (contrary to what many people i know have told me)- it is a strength that i feel many "men" these days are lacking in. In my opinion- until a boy can say for certain he has all of these things in his heart, well and truly, then he can call himself a man. Until that point- your just a grown up boy.

I understand some will find this philosophy of mine sexist- and if thats the case then I apologize- but the world of Men has gotten far away from what it truly could be. Just my two cents :-\

Flotsam and Jetsam / Tech Help
« on: August 03, 2008, 11:14:19 pm »
Yeah um Ive got a problem...i forgot to turn my computer off last night (i am currently typing this on my brothers computer) and then early this morning the power died while my computer was in "Power-Saving-Mode". I didnt really think any of it other than "eh ill restart it later" well i went to restart it and it fired up ok- except all that seems to be running is the cooling fans because they're running pretty loudly. Well there seems to be NO power going to either the Keyboard, Mouse, or other components. The monitor turns on- but the only thing on it is "entering Power saver mode" before the screen goes black. I left it running for a good 30 mins like that HOPING that it would work itself out...but no luck. My computer is now unplugged and im going to let it sit for a few hours if not overnight- hopefully in the morning when i start it up it will RESET itself and work again....

Any Ideas?

I play this on my computer whenever im headed into a large raid or group event- this is my song  ;)

Locking Up The Sun by Poets Of The Fall-

They're locking up the sun, the light of reason gone,
n' hope has been succesfully undone
The question's burning on, where is it coming from,
no-one seems to know the monster born

It's a bad trip on a sinking ship, when no-one seems responsible
Scapegoat to rock the boat, yeah, we need someone expendable
Volunteers to face the fears, can we be sensible
And find a way to break the fall, find out the cure for all

Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day
Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away
Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime

They're locking up the sun, they have their chosen one,
you know this time they'll make him play along
They're taking to the arms, the fathers and their sons,
there's nowhere left to run and hide

It's a bad trip on a sinking ship, when no-one seems responsible
Scapegoat to rock the boat, yeah, we need someone expendable
Volunteers to face the fears, can we be sensible
And find a way to break the fall, find out the cure for all

Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day
Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away
Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime

And in the emptiness, there's a solution,
just look within yourself for absolution
